About Me

 

I’m Dalis Freixa, Prison Consultant, National Advocate, Author, Speaker, and the founder of Prison101 Consulting.  My story didn’t begin in a boardroom. It began inside the walls of one of Florida’s toughest women’s prisons. Three years behind bars could have erased me, but instead, I chose to rise. I turned my sentence into purpose, building programs from within and guiding women through the brutal reality of incarceration. What started as survival became the foundation of a national movement: Prison101, a lifeline for justice-impacted individuals and families.

I know what it means to lose everything and I know what it takes to rebuild. Prison didn’t silence me, it activated me. In the place designed to break me, I discovered that real reentry doesn’t begin at release. It begins with mindset, education, and strategy. My mission is simple: to bring truth, structure, and hope to those the system forgot.

🗝️ Why I Lead This Work
I’ve seen the crisis inside America’s prisons. I’ve lived it, studied it, and I expose it daily. Today, I consult with defendants, families, attorneys, and advocates nationwide. I stand at the intersection of survival and reform, teaching others how to navigate prisons, prepare for sentencing, fight for reentry, and reclaim their lives.

This isn’t just my story. It’s proof that even in the darkest places, light exists. And when you’re willing to face truth and learn the system instead of fearing it, you discover freedom starts from within.
